May 27--USD600 MILLION ADCO, TECHNIP DEAL: The Abu Dhabi Company for Offshore Oil Operations has signed a USD600 million contract for the North East Bab development project with Technip-Coflexip and the National Petroleum Construction Company. This project will boost production at the Rumaitha, Shanayel and Al Dabbiya oilfields from 10,000 bpd to 110,000 bpd by Q1 2006. Abu Dhabi aims to boost capacity to 3 million bpd by 2006-7.
