May 22--Menomonee Falls, Wis.--The wave of U.S. factory jobs lost in recent years isn't an accident but the direct result of unfair trade policies enacted by Congress, a group of small-business owners said at a meeting here Wednesday night.

The group is made up primarily of small manufacturers who have joined together to raise awareness of what they say is the nation's eroding manufacturing base. The group calls itself Save American Manufacturing. The organization's Wisconsin chapter sponsored Wednesday night's meeting.
