My wife and I had been discussing how to clean the kitchen floor, which is made of quarry tiles.
Her idea was to rent a heavy-duty washer and clean the floor _ and the dirty grout lines _ once and for all.
In search of ways to save money while tackling the job at hand, I suggested that I get on my hands and knees and wash the floor, which I did regularly at both our former house and the house we rented in between.
While the debate continued, a Swiffer WetJet arrived from the manufacturer. Since life and my job always overlap, I figured why not.
