OAKLAND, Calif. _ The Carlos Pena fan club was back in the right field bleachers Thursday night at Network Associates Coliseum. But there was something wrong with the sign hanging over the facade above the right field scoreboard: The letters still were written in green with a gold background.
There was a reason for Pena's fan club to be at the Coliseum on Thursday. Pena was indeed in the house, but this time it was as a member of the Detroit Tigers.
