Don't feel sorry for Rick Barry even though the Warriors did not hire him as their coach last week. The former Warriors star still has a job as host of the noon-to-3 p.m. show on KNBR (680-AM).

At least KNBR wants Barry, who joined the station last September. His two-year contract with the station included an option allowing either side to void the deal after the first year. KNBR notified Barry last month that it wanted him to remain on the air, and he agreed to do so because he's having fun on the show.
