PHILADELPHIA _ There are some things Phillies manager Larry Bowa should expect by now.
One is an outstanding effort every five or six days from lefthander Randy Wolf.
The other is a tightrope walk whenever he calls on closer Jose Mesa.
Bowa got both on Thursday night, and the Phillies walked away with a tense 2-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants that allowed them to win the three-game series at Veterans Stadium.
