ORLANDO _ A who's-who of some of the most intriguing college football coaches in the nation _ not to mention some of the most successful _ began revealing itself Saturday at the Florida Sports Writers Association two-day meeting at the World Center Marriott.

After University of Miami coach Larry Coker spoke first because, according to the organizers, his team did finish first, Florida International coach Don Strock took over.

Strock, backup quarterback for the Dolphins in the `70s and `80s, talked about his excitement and apprehension over the upcoming inaugural season, which begins Aug. 29 against Saint Peter's at FIU Community Stadium (Sunshine Network, live, 7:30 p.m.).
