MIAMI _ Lleyton Hewitt's Wimbledon title snapped a streak of eight different men's Grand Slam champions in as many majors. In the process, he established himself as one of the only players who can reel off multiple majors in the coming years.

Entering next month's U.S. Open, Hewitt will have won two of the past four Grand Slam events. Barring a horrendous summer hard-court season, he will be the top seed at Flushing Meadows and the favorite to defend his crown.

It's not beyond imagination for Hewitt to win at least one major a year for eight years like Pete Sampras did from 1993-2000.
