Even so, when Tara heard about a project to make a giant quilt in memory of Sept. 11 victims, she was intrigued. She contacted the organizers and enlisted her friends from Lower Makefield, Pa., who, like herself, had lost family to the tragedy.
Tara and nine other Sept. 11 families from Bucks County, Pa., turned over their big panels to Roz Sohnen, a New York filmmaker documenting the quilt project.
