Using ground turkey in place of beef for burgers on the grill is a nice weeknight menu change. The salsa in the following recipe helps keep the turkey from drying out during cooking. Pick a special salsa for the best results. We like to use a roasted tomato salsa or a tomatillo salsa, but any flavors will work, even fruit salsas.
Instead of the usual tortilla chips as a side, purchase a packaged coleslaw mix, then add some lime juice and ground cumin to mayonnaise for a slaw dressing. Fresh mango cubes also can get a sprinkling of lime juice for a refreshing dessert.
