Jun. 30--TAMPA, Fla.--It was after 6 p.m. and Alma Silvestrini was still at work, although not at her desk, at Tropical Sportswear Int'l. Corp.'s customer support department.
Silvestrini was browsing the racks in The Store, an outlet within the corporate complex on Waters Avenue that offers her company's products at cut-rate prices.
"It's right here," said Silvestrini, explaining the lure of the store while shopping for polo shirts and T-shirts for her husband and for relatives she will visit soon.
"You don't have to go to the mall, spend three hours there, and wind up saying, `Guess what, I didn't find what I was looking for,'" she said. "It's one of the huge conveniences of working here."
