Jun. 30--BOISE, Idaho--Provisions in the new farm bill make it easier for beginning farmers and ranchers to qualify for Farm Service Agency loans -- one way to begin a career in agriculture as an owner.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's FSA executive director in Idaho, Wayne Hammon, said the new law makes a significant difference for people looking for a way to start.
