Future Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson had the largest decline in his batting average from 1999 to 2000 by falling 82 points from .315 with the Mets in '99 to a disappointing .233 with the Mets and Mariners last season.

Last year there were 30 big league players who dropped 30 or more points off their batting percentage from the previous season. Listed below are those players who had the largest batting decline.

Players included in the chart must have played a minimum of 100 games in each of the last two seasons in the majors.
