Jun. 21--The resale market and sales prices for homes in Fort Walton Beach saw double-digit increases in April.
Fort Walton Beach led the state in April with a 24 percent increase in the median sales price for single-family existing homes to $143,100 from $115,000 in April 2001.
The median is the midpoint, which is a typical market price where half of the homes sold for more and half sold for less.
