The head of a community reform organization faces sentencing after pleading no contest to two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor in Torrance County.

Ben McGartland of Albuquerque, head of the New Mexico chapter of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, was charged in July in state District Court in Estancia with 10 counts, including second-degree criminal sexual penetration of a minor, three counts of criminal sexual contact, attempt to commit a felony, kidnapping, concealing identity, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia…
