Jun. 2--Technology workers still face an uphill job market, but some programmers proficient in Oracle software are finding the path to employment less steep.

"It's true -- we've seen the activity picking up on the Oracle side," said Emmanuel Delpierre, director of business development for Plano-based IT consulting firm esoftsolutions Inc. (www.esoftsolutions.com).
