ST. LOUIS _ The St. Louis Cardinals, who had given Darryl Kile the least run support of any of their starting pitchers this year, made it up to him all at once Saturday night.
The Redbirds scored six runs in the first inning and defeated Pittsburgh, 9-4, giving Kile a walkover win before 39,542 (43,295 paid).
