NEW YORK _ For a team with the best record in baseball, the Red Sox suddenly seem strangely like a team in crisis.
After they had absorbed a 10-2 beating at the hands of the New York Yankees on Saturday, manager Grady Little was peppered with questions about his failing bullpen. In the middle of the clubhouse, interim general manager Mike Port evaluated his team's meager relief options.
When it was pointed out to Port that the line of questioning seemed almost absurd given the team's overall success, Port smiled knowingly, then added: "But we have a game tomorrow."
