Q. My husband and I would like to take our children and their spouses back to our roots in Sweden, where my parents and my husband's grandparents were born, for our 50th anniversary this June.

The stay would be about 10 to 14 days and we would also like to include Norway, especially the fjords to Bergen. My father was born in Dalsland. I have no idea if this would be a nice place to visit.

We were thinking of flying into Stockholm and renting a van or taking a train to take in some of the towns and villages (which do you think?) to Gothenburg, stay a night or two and then go over to Oslo and take a package through the fjords to Bergen and back.

We are not wealthy people but want to leave wonderful memories for the children. Thank you for your help. _ C.L., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
