LOUISVILLE, Ky. _ Most years, by the time Derby week arrives, most of the attention is squarely focused on one or two much-hyped, can't-miss favorites.
Not this year.
Come Saturday afternoon, when a maximum field of 20 colts breaks from the gate, the eventual winner of the 128th Kentucky Derby will be anybody's guess. With the first leg of the Triple Crown at hand, no 3-year-old thoroughbred has established himself as the horse to beat _ and certainly none is arriving with the pre-race press clips of Fusaichi Pegasus two years ago or Point Given last year.
