Men need to keep their promises.
And Promise Keepers, after some hard times financially, is still championing this excellent concept 12 years after the high-profile men's organization was founded.
I remember covering a rambunctious Promise Keepers rally in 1995 at Texas Stadium; 60,000 men attended. They cheered for Jesus. They prayed and pledged to be better husbands and better fathers and to fulfill their Christian duties to society. Similar gatherings filled stadiums across the nation.
