It has ``F'' words, including the derogatory terms for sex and homosexuals.

It illustrates the affection between two gay men, and describes a man being stripped naked, beaten and thrown to his death.

That about sums up the reasons protesters gave to force the removal of the book, ``The Drowning of Stephan Jones,'' from the libraries of South Carolina's Horry County Schools.

Oh yeah ... it's a subtle attempt to get our children to accept homosexuals, or worse yet, join them. Almost forgot that one.

School officials have at least temporarily banned the book until they decide if it's suitable for middle-schoolers.
