PHILADELPHIA _ With the Flyers' injury list growing by the day, it was welcome news to see both Eric Desjardins and Eric Weinrich skating Thursday at practice.
Not that either will play in Saturday's Atlantic Division showdown with the New York Islanders.
Desjardins had the bursa sac on his left elbow drained but still has lower back pain. Weinrich has a badly bruised left shoulder. Both players think they will be healthy for Tuesday's game in Chicago.
Desjardins conceded he's not sure if his back pain is muscular or disk related. Trainer John Worley said an MRI this week was "pretty much unremarkable," meaning negative.
