EAST LANSING, Mich. _ T.J. Duckett revealed one emotion this season that his Michigan State teammate had rarely, if ever, seen.
Anger.
"I saw him get mad on the field, and that's really not Duck," said tailback Little John Flowers, who also was Duckett's teammate at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix. "I could tell he was really frustrated. He was just mad at the whole situation, that we couldn't get the running game started."
Until last Saturday, MSU's running game had been a bust. Duckett was a preseason Heisman Trophy candidate, but the Spartans were averaging only 128.4 yards rushing, 78th in the nation.
