MIAMI _ Cavaliers forward Lamond Murray had a scary fall Wednesday in Charlotte, but Coach John Lucas said he might be able to play Friday night at Miami.
"He was moving pretty good (Thursday)," Lucas said.
Murray didn't practice Thursday after suffering a bruised lower back, and his status for Friday night won't be determined until just before the game.
In the final seconds of the first half in a 100-94 loss, Murray chased down Hornets forward Jamal Mashburn. Murray went high in the air to try to block a shot and came down on his back. He was attended to for several minutes before he was able to get up.
