Since early 1998 the Stockwatch charts have appeared in Holography News, with commentary by one of the co-editors. During this period we have introduced some changes in response to the developments in the industry. Over the next few months we will be introducing more changes. The first is that the commentary will be written by David Tidmarsh, former CEO of Applied Optical Technologies plc, whom we welcome as a regular contributor. Here, he discusses the value of Stockwatch and the changes he hopes to introduce.

StockWatch was introduced in response to the growing attention being paid to hologram company stocks. It was felt that Holography News readers would want to see and compare how companies in the industry were doing on a regular basis without having to search publications throughout the world to find out.
