Oct. 1--SOMETHING'S COOKING IN CLARENDON: While cooking the books is a definite no-no for a financial services company, there's nothing wrong with booking a cook, as the Bank of Clarendon recently did.
Last month, the Manning-based community bank hired Ray Blanchette to head BOC Financial Services, the bank's investment arm.
Blanchette, who has eight years of experience in the securities industry, is a 2000 graduate of Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts program and enjoys preparing gourmet meals for family and friends.
