Now's the time to head to your local farmers' market or health food store to stock up on summer's best produce. What's in season? The question really is, what's not? This is the time to experiment with some of those new veggie recipes you've been cutting out of magazines, or just enjoy the vegetables steamed with some herbs and a little butter or olive oil.

CORN: Everyone's favorite veggie is readily available at this time of year. Look for ears that have plump, glossy kernels. There are plenty of recipes that utilize fresh corn, but nothing beats corn on the cob with a little salt and butter. It can be boiled or grilled right in the husk.
