Snoring may be indicative of more than just deep sleep, according to research that was presented at the American Stroke Association's 26th International Stroke Conference held recently in Ft. Lauderdale Fla.
Dr. Adnan Qureshi and colleagues at the State University of New York at Buffalo evaluated the association of snoring, sleep duration and daytime sleepiness with stroke and the constricting of carotid arteries (carotid stenois).
