Sep. 6--QUESTION: I haven't been able get any satisfaction on a Humminbird DC-5 waterproof hand-held VHF radio I bought in December 1999. I paid $159.99 for it through a Cabela's catalog.
The radio failed in October 2000. I phoned Cabela's customer service for repair or replacement. I was told to send the radio back to the manufacturer, so I sent it to Techsonics Industries, located in Alabama.
I received a replacement from Cabela's, a Humminbird hand-held VHF-5 radio.
