LOS ANGELES _ Neither the tears nor champagne had dried, and already the word "repeat" was being bandied about Staples Center. But it wasn't the Lakers talking.
The Sparks, L.A.'s other professional basketball team, added a WNBA championship to those eight already owned by their NBA brethren with an 82-54 victory Saturday against the Charlotte Sting, wrapping up the WNBA Finals in two games. It was the Sparks' first title in their five-year existence.
