SAN JOSE, Calif. _ For-profit nursing homes are more likely to deliver poor-quality care than non-profit or public nursing homes, according to a new study released Friday by health researchers at Harvard University and the University of California-San Francisco.
The study, published in the American Journal of Public Health, also found that for-profit nursing homes provide fewer nurses per patient.
