Jul. 31--Most conventioneers come to Philly, see the Bell, eat a cheesesteak and go home.
The 6,000 people arriving here Saturday will do all that -- and then could bring a million or so friends back for a second round of steaks.
From Saturday through next Tuesday, a throng of executives who decide where associations and trade groups host conventions will descend on the city for the annual meeting of the American Society of Association Executives at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Of the 6,000 delegates attending, half are decision-makers who are responsible for choosing the sites for their own organizations'...
