SANTA ANA, Calif. _ The future leadership of Trinity Law School, a small college that seeks to instill Christian ethics in its students, is likely to be decided in the next three weeks, after its dean stepped down temporarily amid accusations that he plagiarized material from an encyclopedia.
The dean, Winston Lyle Frost, has been asked to explain by Aug. 6 why portions of a human-rights article he wrote for the fall 2000 campus law review journal appear nearly identical to an entry in Encyclopaedia Britannica, said Barry Beitzel, provost of the parent Trinity International University.
