_Best-looking new drama: A tie between ABC's "Alias," which may be a bit of a "La Femme Nikita" rip-off but has smart writing, stylish production and a riveting star in Jennifer Garner, and the WB's "Smallville," a reshaping of the Superman mythology that you don't have to be a Big Blue Boy Scout fan to appreciate.
