GRANTSBURG, Wis._Larry Dahlberg was fishing for Jaws.
Somewhere out there in the upper St. Croix River, there was a fish with a row of razor-sharp teeth and a nasty attitude. And Dahlberg intended to catch her.
Time and time again, he launched long casts with an oversized lure that threw off a loud splash every time it landed. And finally, one of those casts attracted attention.
As Dahlberg ripped his topwater plug across the surface, he noticed a wake behind the lure. Then he saw a mouth full of teeth snap at the orange bait.
The fish made its customary predator rush, lunging at the bait, and the surface turned into a giant swirl.
Jaws.
Muskie!
