EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. _ The University of Miami and Virginia Tech once again are the favorites to be the top two teams in the Big East, leaving one major question.

Could the final game of the regular season between the two _ on Dec. 1, on national television, in Blacksburg, Va. _ be an unofficial conference championship game?

"I think that's the way the league wanted it to be," UM tackle Bryant McKinnie said. "It will be a big game. They want to make it as big as possible."
