If you want to know what the hottest trends at the beach are this summer, all you really need to do is visit a surf shop or boardwalk boutique.

Because even when one particular item or look hasn't emerged in a season as the "must have" _ as is the case this summer _ one can still find in these bastions of all things cool those who believe they personify the so-called beach lifestyle.
