CHICAGO _ Don't get SBC Senior Open tournament director Brian Fitzgerald wrong. He loves Tiger Woods_and the British Open. It's just that recently he has been seeing them both in a slightly new light.

The Senior PGA Tour is celebrating its 21st birthday this year. Since its debut in 1980 it has been an overwhelming success by most measures. Like many of its marquee competitors, though, the circuit appears to be showing its age. Arnold Palmer is 71, Gary Player and Chi Chi Rodriguez are 65 and Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino are 61.
