WASHINGTON-- U.S. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham announced that he had formed a Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Emergency Task Force to ensure that DOE can work effectively with the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) in the event potential energy emergencies this summer. The task force will be led by Major General John, McBroom, USAF (Ret.), the current DOE Director of Emergency Qperations.
