The Tampa Port Authority commissioners voted unanimously on Jan. 21 to offer Richard A. Wainio, the former head of the Port of Palm Beach, Fla. the top job as Tampa's new port director, filling a position left in doubt since George Williamson, the port's former director, resigned last March.
