I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO THROW two no-hitters in my career, and both of them were with the Expos.
The first one happened on the road against the Phillies in Connie Mack Stadium. It was on April 17, 1969, which was just the ninth game ever played by the Expos. We won 7-0, and there were a couple of tense plays.
Tony Taylor hit a line drive to right field, and Rusty Staub caught it on the run. Rusty also had four hits and a homer. Don Money hit a blooper to center field off the end of his bat. Don Bosch took a few steps back, but he recovered and made a shoestring catch. Since it was early in the season, there wasn't a big crowd (attendance 6,496).
