Fifth Avenue in my best Huntsman suit and crocodile shoes. I keep that photograph on my mantel. Not long ago, some friends were visiting, and they both thought it was a picture of Denzel Washington.
Once, in other words, I was a devoted dandy, a man with a lean Jack-and-the-Beanstalk frame.
