SHORT STORY
Because I'm five feet tall, the challenge is to find clothes that fit my body's proportions in width. Often I will try on a dress and it will be perfect in length but too tight in the arms. Or I'll find a jacket that fits my shoulders but is too long and bunching in the back. Most everything needs to be altered. I wear a lot of dresses and tops that have higher necklines and natural waists because they lengthen my torso. To create an illusion of height I wear wide-leg pants and A-line skirts with thick waistbands-belts always flatter my shape-
