FRENCH CONNECTION
I was lucky enough to preview the Balenciaga fall collection in Paris and was blown away by a chocolate Empire-waisted floor-length dress.
It took me off-guard because I tend to stay away from Empire gowns-they make
me look shapeless and short, but this dress was amazing. I also fell in love with Ghesquiere's slouchy, mid-calf boot with an impossibly high stacked wooden wedge. I own tons of Balenciaga: the turquoise tote, a black tuxedo jacket, the brown suede hobo bag from two years ago, and the trouser with gold piping for spring.
HOT POCKET
I often wear jeans, but because I have hips and a butt, most pairs tend to gap around the waist. Notify fit me great, and the pockets are perfectly situated. Unless you are a complete toothpick, you must wear a jean with well-placed back pockets. I also love the Havana wash for Seven and Marc by Marc white nautical jeans for spring.
