What's in a name? Energy and Power Management describes us best.(EDITORIAL: OPINIONS AND COMMENTARY FROM THE EDITOR)
Sometimes a name is just a name, and sometimes it is an identity. In the case of a magazine, a name is never just a name. And so we are happy to announce that we are changing our name to Energy and Power Management, beginning with the June issue.
Energy and Power Management, we believe, better describes the information we have been providing you, our loyal readers, for years. According to our surveys, you noticed the number and quality of stories we do on power management and reliability issues, in addition to the groundbreaking work we do on traditional energy management. Our approach has been successful, according to every metric we have.
Our publication's old title did not accurately describe the breadth of coverage that we've been providing. We're not changing our approach; we're just describing ourselves more accurately: Energy and Power Management.
Along with a new name, we have also developed a new look (see the mockup). The look is bolder, more attractive, more colorful, and designed to highlight the features we run in each issue.
