Aug. 17--TRINIDAD, Colo.--The Las Animas County commissioners -- following a two-hour hearing Tuesday -- agreed in principle to a number of zoning changes.
The commissioners are expected to vote on a final draft after another public hearing on Sept. 5.
In the interim, County Attorney Dodge Shelby will draft specific language for the rules, designed to regulate and control the location of public utilities' transmission lines and compressor station sites within the county.
