Sep. 8--DIANA HUSEBY NAMED MARKETER OF THE YEAR: FARGO, N.D.--Diana Huseby, director of marketing communications at AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Fargo, N.D., recently was named Marketer of the Year by Farm Credit Council Services Inc. Huseby was honored at an awards ceremony in Milwaukee.

CHURCHES FERRY ELEVATOR MANAGER MOVES ON: CHURCHS FERRY, N.D.--Churchs Ferry, N.D.'s elevator manager, a key figure in the government buyout of the town after years of Devils Lake flooding, has left town. Jarvis Haugeberg had been trying to find a way to move the BTR Elevator in Churchs Ferry to higher ground. The move has been slowed by efforts to procure financing and meet Federal Emergency Management Agency guidelines.

Haugeberg says he has taken a new job in South Dakota, where he's general manager of Dakota Land Feeds in Huron. He will continue working as a consultant for BTR and hopes to find a way to pay for moving the elevator. He says it's hard to believe that every other business and residence in…
