Florida Board of Regents Hesitates to Make Final Ruling on Law School Location.

Sep. 19--The chairman of the Board of Regents says the panel may recommend a site for Florida A&M University's law school to the Legislature and let it have the final say.

Chairman Tom Petway of Jacksonville told the Tallahassee Democrat that a decision by regents about a location, which is expected in November, may not be the last word on the politically charged issue.

"We have been charged to study the question and make a recommendation," Petway said. "And it probably will only end up being a recommendation to the Legislature, and the Legislature will do what it wants to do."
