Oct. 11--Winston-Salem Business Inc.'s promotional and marketing efforts to keep the city in the spotlight long after the presidential debate have apparently paid off.

The debate boxes that Winston-Salem Business, the economic development arm of the Greater Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce, mailed primarily to site selection consultants and venture capitalists late last week have generated several business inquiries.

Winston-Salem Business sent out about 250 of the boxes, which were designed by Long Haymes Carr. Inside each was a debate T-shirt, general information about the community, a reply card and two packs of Mrs. Hanes …
